The corn is running 59 lb test weight @ 14.5% moisture here. But the leaves are green, stalks not dried down, my opinion is that there is enough moisture in stalk/ear butt to hold it upright yet/not crimp over HERE . I know this doesnt answer your question as your stalks are dry BTW where are you from, and what is your TW
