south central illinois | Same thing here near Raymond. 220# of preplant anhydrous, 250 DAP, 250 potash, 10 gallons of 28% with chemical program. Also applied quilt with insecticide by ground rig and 20 gallons of water. Very disappointing talked to seed corn guy about it 1 month ago. You could tell the kernels looked like popcorn and were already dented. Have refuge pioneer number beside it and pretty sure it is beating it by at least 10 bushel but have not had yield monitor calibrated yet. Looks like in the 170 category with other numbers easily in the 190 s or way above. I have some that was sidedressed but haven't tried it yet. Does look better. Just my observations! | |
