| Its more critical on timing of application. A few years ago all that was applied with ground rigs turned the ears into short fat non yielding ears. PLus spraying tall corn is not fun. NO yield differences in this area. Hire the plane and enjoy a summer vacation. MY neighboor bought a new 4830 deere with lift kit and it still mowed it down. He is back to airplane.
