 | We have ran a Miller Nitro for 3 years in corn.We have odd shaped and smaller fields. You go in a field and you learn how to do the least damage as possible.I stay out 4 rows to compensate for tree branches, staying up 10 ' makes a big difference 1st time around.Make large easy turns, I have crop sheilds on so if I stop and turn my wheel it will sweep out some corn.Miller or Hagie would be sprayer of choice. We have a 4240 now but will trade for a 4275 with 1600 gal tank. We do a lot of vegetable crops and having the booom up front helps get the spray where you want it.We just started spraying tobacco and keeping the booms down close is important. It really comes down as to which dealer is closest and how much can you do yourself for repairs.
