Subject: Re: Pumpkin Shortage?

Most (I think about 95%) of the pie pumpkin are processed in 2 plants (Seneca in Princeville and Libby's (Nestle) in Morton) around Peoria, IL. The majority of the pumpkin is grown locally around the plants in Tazwell, Mason, and Peoria counties along with a few others. These areas have been really wet this year and prime weather for disease. The best yields these plants will most likely see are what they hauled out of Georgia and Texas earlier this summer.
