Putnam Co.

Yes I'm concerned too. A production pumpkin of mine is Gold Medal (20-30 lbs). The fruit has a good size but not many of them.  The female flowers aborted during the heat of the last 30 days. Some areas of the patch have lots of vegetation but no pumpkins.

A pie pumpkin I grow has just begun to fruit set, 15-20 feet along the vine. Never seen that before. Has to be the heat, we had good moisture up until August. Just too hot, stressed the plants.

Good luck to you. Stay safe.

When will you cut stems and ship? I start cutting stems middle of Sept.
