North Central Kansas | The stalks look like you are doing a good job on chopping them up. It is probably alot more fun just picking and not cleaning the stalks out of the head. That day of work was worth it. I rebuilt a row head one year. I was fighting it and finally fave in and replaced all the rotary knives and stationaries. Couldn't believe how much better it worked.
I hope to get goin by the weekend. I have to go pick up the corn head tommorrow and then get the combine set and I should be ready. I am just renting a head for this year. I was actually hoping we could get a little rain tonight but I think we are going to miss that. Who do you get your Pioneer seed from? Is there a dealer by Salina? | |
