That site used to be the site for another, short lived show. They were using a cat to pul the pickups out during the last year of that show (Iowa power show or some such). That spot is kinda bad as they get runoff from the two seed plants, as well as hiway 30 and hiway 17 that run down into there. It just turns into a sloppy mess. I know they put in tile and some culverts, but I dont think even strom drains would keep that place dry.

While you are there, slip over to Ames and hit the Great Plains Sauce and Dough company downtown for the best pizza in Iowa.
