I was wondering why the corn on this soil type looked so tough. But after looking up the ET on the North Dakota weather network and using the rainfall amounts collected at this field i can understand why. It looks like it ran out of water about the time the corn started to tassel. I haven`t checked real close to the condition of the corn only from the road. I will get a closer look and take some pictures and report back. Also will run some numbers on other soil types as well. The soil type in this report has gravelly loam in the top 12 inches then is course gravelly loam after that.
