A feed facility looking for straw as a filler ???  Feed value in straw is about zilch.. The must have some high octane feed needing to be toned down ??

If it were me and its not,,   I would seriously be looking at all the total costs of Grain production over the life of the loans,  projected income from grain (including yeilds) and projected income from the straw, over the life of the loans.  I would also be seriously looking at the lost income potential over the life of any loans for the 36 months lost by not being "organic".

There is a whole lot of acres NOT owned but rented. What happens if 1/4-1/2 is lost to another renter ???  You still would have a yard full of Grain equipment to pay for.  If you have the land "locked up" for 5-10 years that would be different than a year by year rent.
