McPherson county. Our soil temp was about 60 deg. last week and then down all the way to 35. I think the snow that we had was a real curse. I can't imagine how the wheat can be any good, even the secondary tillers have the growing point above the ground. The duration of the freeze was way too long. Then the problem is that crop insurance is going to drag their feet saying it might recover. Thats like saying I'm going to win the lottery, which I'm starting to think my odds and time spent would be better in vegas.
