It is hard enough to build a seed company from scratch. usually takes more than one generation to grow it big.  How can any privately run seed company compete when they have to sell off half the business to pay estate taxes every generation and corporations don't. 

As a republican I say eliminate the estate tax on individuals' businesses.

If I were a democrat I would say enact an excise tax on corporations 55% of net value every 20 years.

If I were independant I would say just make estate taxes equal to an equal tax on corporations. 

Sorry to make this political, but we can't keep banging our heads against the wall and expect different results.
