| Took some new roads today, up to the power show at Belmond by way of Williams, back by way of Clarion, Webster City, and Jewell. Up in the Iowa River valley its harder to find SDS from the road, but the beans overall are shorter, so they just may be too young to show it.
West out of the river valley, like on R38, a few fields didn't have SDS, but most did where they didn't have lots of water damage.
Of the three fields just east of Jewell that I reported not showing SDS a few days ago, two have yellowing patches today.
An elevator demo patch west of Randall has SDS in some numbers. I can't see into the Champion demo plot well enough at Ellsworth from the road to see SDS not at the road edge.
Think maybe those demo strips with SDS might "accidentally" get harvested before the show?
On my way north there was another field with the same height irregularities as one close to home and still clean for SDS.
