WCIN | The old man has a couple of 33' bins that he dries corn in, and when he emptied them out this spring, he had corn stuck a couple of inches thick all of the way around, and themetal is now rusted behind behind it. Most of the corn is off of the wall's now, but there is some scattered around on the wall. Plans are to clean it out, and paint it with red oxide primer. Question is, is what is the best way to clean the walls up prior to primeing them. I was wondering, besides a wire brush, about using a pressure washer, but didn't know if that would cause more problems down the road, ie the floor and under it. Another thought that I had wwas renting an industrual sandblaster, but then again I didn't know about all of the sand that would end up under the floor. | |
