Ontario's West Coast , Huron County | Take off side panel and you are likely best to drop the concaves down off the hangers so you can reach in to the rotor . Put rotor in nuetral and spin it over . Let it stop on it's own . If it rolls back after it stops you have one side heavier than the other . A simple way to see how far out it is is to clamp a vise grip to a pad mount and spin it again and see how that affected it . You may need a selection of different size vise grips to get it really close . Then just weigh the vise grips to get the amount of weight you need to weld to the light side of the rotor .
Also you should run the combine with the rotor in neutral to make sure it is not the chopper that is out of balance .
