I guess I'm daft but how can debt free property be lost? I agree something bad is coming? We have been buying extras and have a freezer and cabinet full of extra's. I would think if it were to be like in the 30's then the farmer would survive better than most. We would have to resort to make things that we buy now: but it can be done. Still have my granny's old butter churn, may have to use it, than use is as a decoration. Have cows and chickens and goats so we won't starve. Would be a shock to our kids. Sad but true.
