ECIL | There are some differences in parts.
I have a 2588. Had a lot of problems last fall that were to blame largely on mud etc.
Called for a few parts, and they said "we have one for a 2388, and it will fit 2588" Mainly things like extended wear augers, etc. Since they only made those 2588 a couple years, they are just putting 2388 parts on em I guess so the parts dept does not have to stock so much and there are a bazillion 2388's out there.
Case has quality control issues imho. Like the machine for the most part, but things break that shouldn't. Mainly from cheap or flimsy steel components. Been happy with the longevity of bearings and such. | |
