Take stand x ear length in kernels x ear girth in kernels and divide all that by kernels per bushel. Most guys use 90000 as kernels per bushel. example is 31500 ppa with and average ear size of 16x43. 31500x16x43=21,672,000 kernels per acre. Now divide that by kernels per bu. 21,672,000/90,000=240.8 bu/acre
