NC | it would be a good thing if they attempt to be as accurate as possible but that is not the case anymore. since Profarmer came out way under USDA's Aug numbers in 2003, from that year on they have altered their numbers in the end to come real close to the USDA Aug report. as do all the rest of the private firms. except Lanworth who was laughed off this page last Jan but in the end where proven somewhat right by later USDA reports.
being mostly made up by farmers, it hard to believe how they justify passing on poor fields of poor spots in fields. as farmers know, in a 120 acre field it only a few poor acres to drop an average rather quickly. like most anything, yields in general,,,,,,,, they tear down a lot faster than you can build it! | |
