Subject: Two Irritating Things About My Macdon Swather

Manitoba
My swather is a 99 9200 Westward. The first one is the rate of drop of the reels. They drop like a rock making it not very user friendly. Is there somewhere to adjust that?
Also I really hate the feel of the hydro lever. I think Im developing a new muscle for the strength it takes to pull it sideways towards you. Its way too stiff. Ive looked at the spring at the other end of it, which is on top of the hydro unit under the cab, and it looks like it would be hard to modify. It also makes the lever stiff going forward and reverse. Its hard to bump your speed up in small increments. You have to push kind of hard so its in 0.5 mph jumps. Any solution to this? I might just put some plastic in the slot where the lever slides so theres at least less friction. Thanks.
