Ethridge, TN | anytime i have ever had a problem with a part from Shoup, it has only taken a phone call, and that problem was immediately addressed, and resolved. They have been very good people to work with.
Specifically on Kinze parts, I have had many of them come with a Kinze part label on them. On openers, the last i knew Shoup is buying the blades, and doing there own bearing and hub installs, in house, so that they can control the quality of the bearing going into it.
This past year I did have a problem with some of the CIH closing discs, bearings going out with few acres run. A call got an acknowledgment, that yes there was a problem, and that was an item they had been sourcing as a complete unit. Sent me all new Timken bearings, nc, yes I'll had labor in changing, but they straight up told me if they sent new replacements, from what they had left in stock, the results would have been the same. They actually had pulled this item, and was no longer shipping it out due to the failures. They will be putting them together themselves for this next year, to again have that quality control.
I was impressed to deal with an outfit that admitted, we have a problem, here is what it is, and at this time we can offer this to fix it. Never once got the normal, this is the first time we heard of this, or your the only one. Straight shooting means more with me, and they have maintained me as a customer. The majors could learn something here. | |
