Works great.

You have to feed it fast enough to keep it fresh...that depends on air temp, moisture of corn(how well it is cured), and how neat of a job you do feeding. If everything is right, 6 inches/day is enough. BUT, everything has to be right. Of course, it is not a problem in the winter.

Put the corn in the bag in the form you want to feed it. I prefer finely ground for a dairy TMR, rolled works, whole might give problems with air infiltration when feeding.

I don't have good numbers for cost....in the past it has always been an economical alternative.
