Not that it really matters in this situation, but this Microsoft link suggests the file size limit for FAT32 is 4gb.

You can convert from FAT32 to NTFS without losing data using certain partitioning software. Or, you can use the free software built into XP or Vista. I would strongly recommend backing up everything first though. Please note, I've never tried this procedure using the MS Convert utility.
