To plant wheat with a JD vac meter all you need it the standard sorghum plates.

At max, they only drop 550,000 - 650,000 seeds per pass, so I always made a 2nd pass and split the 15 inch rows and usually had final pops of 1.1 - 1.2 million seeds. With a drill you try to drop 1.4 million seeds but with a planter and its better seed placement you can get by with less seed.
