Huntley Montana | I need to lose about 75-80 lbs thoo :-). Doing about 2000 acres Irrigated hay & a "little" malt barley (so you all can have a "cold 1" ) in Mt & Wy since I got forced out of the Beet business. Trying to make 2-3,000 ton of "pet food" for the horse owners, along with the other 10,000 ton of hay a yr, with hired help. Gotta run a "little newer" eqpt when the shop is 100 mi away at times. Get a " real good nite" & we'll put a string on 6-900 ton of hay with the 2 big balers, but they don't come too offen. Small balers Have done up to 300 ton IF conditions are "just perfect" with 3 running 10-12 hrs. Some days we sit waiting for conditions to get 1/2 "right". I sell all the hay, poor hay is harder to sell, good hay is easy to sell. | |
