Watonwan County MN | We rake virtually everything mainly because of the heavy dew we have at night. We do run a NH 166 Inverter on the alfalfa to save leaves, but we can't merge windrows together with it. Here in SWMN, we've raked hay at 7:00 a.m. let the sun do it's work, then bale at 9:00p.m. or so as not to lose leaves. With grass hay, it's more of a timesaver with the balers to rake together and that way anything you run down cutting gets turned and fluffed. | |
