We hired a custom cutter one time with an N7. The guy spent more time messing around with it and trying to get it to work then cutting. We out cut it with our Massey 760 which tells you how bad that N7 really was. I remember hearing about the proto conventional Gleaner? Did it still have the cylinder behind the header. Thats the first time I've heard someone say the bottleneck on the Gleaner was the feeding system. Seems like Gleaner liked to point out the advantage theirs has over the competition. We can compare the L to the JD 77XX series because the cylinder and seperator width are close between the two. Still even with all that seperating area the L can't do any more than a 7720. |
