I've used Mozilla's Firefox browser since its first release. It is lean and fast, has handy tabs, offers many free add-ons, and is more secure than Microsoft's Internet Explorer. The price you pay for security is that some Web pages won't display as intended. We've found that Firefox has issues with some of this software's features. - Unlike IE, Firefox doesn't allow you to Paste into the message post box. You can use Ctrl-V.
- Pasting a Web link using Firefox won't make it an active link.
- When using the HTML Editor (see FAQ) to post, some of the HTML control buttons will not be visible. IE users will find a spellcheck button, FF users will not.
I'm sure someone will be along soon to add to this list. Some of these issues may be resolved by modifications to Firefox's configuration files. I've used both IE and FF here and will stick to Firefox for now. |
