It won't work directly.
The pot on the corn head is made to be mounted inside the snout, and have a feeler rod hang down that touches the ground. It is a totally different pot.
If you're good with fabricating parts, you could make the 1020 parts work. As far as that goes, you just need to make sure the pot doesn't ever reach the end of the resistance windings, because if that happens, the header controller gets unhappy. For the wiring all you have to do is extend the wires.

Honestly, it would probably be easier to get the pot, hardware, and harness from your dealer and install it. That would definately save time troubleshooting it to get it going the first time.
