Alberta, Canada | I had an old G years ago. It was nice to drive for its age and a simple machine to work on like others have mentioned. The G had too short of walkers for heavy barley. It could take it in faster than it could hold it unlike our IH 715 we had also back then. About 13 years ago I replaced them with an IH 1480.
Those L2's and L3's we decent old combines. I thought they kept on making the L3 in south america or something??
MY old G however would not combine green oats, we tried but could only get about 50 feet and it would wrap aound the beater in the front and good too!!!!.
