ecmn
to much fuel means melted pistons, hp is a combination of fuel air and compression. adding boost adds air and also increases running compression. on my 4640 for in the field i left the pump stock since it already smoked a little, then when the turbo went bad we upgraded to a little higher boost turbo, added 10-15 hp.

tractor pulling is like any other motor sport, hp isnt going to win it. my stock snowmobile back in 2001 made 160 hp and becuase i spent the time on setup and not hp i could run with guys that were making 180 hp.

watch tractor pulling, take notes of what the winning guys are doing. especially for out of field. its not hp its the right gear, balance tire choice and lane pick going down the track.

all you did was make the tractor smoke like a coal engine and pretty much are going to melt the pistons at some point.
