I know he has done that on at least 2 other combines. I saw a 8820 and a 9610 with similar extensions on them a couple of years ago. I remember he had to reroute the exhaust on the 8820 to get around the huge extension. I never heard of him losing and axle in the field either. He has got some big fields with long rows where I am sure that comes in handy.
At that time I beleive he was planting corn with a 4840 and a 8 row wide IH 800 planter at about 8 mph. He definitely has a different way of looking at things, and he has been very successful.
