SE IL and SW IN | Pat,
Thanks for the input. I know that there are producers out there that have some seed avalilable. and there is demand for more seed than will be planted simply because some buyers cannot find sellers at a wholesale level. I am trying to identify those growers to expose them to a larger audience.
On the topic of breeding for cover crop use, there is so little margin that without participation by companies with deep pockets and a big picture perspective of agriculture , breeding for cover crop traits will be slow. The selection processes that I have been involved with take forever and that is simply selecting species/varieties that work and multiply them.
At the moment, I can only ask, Who has cover crop seed for sale?
