I don't understand why they wouldn't stick with CAT power in the US. Almost all of their dealers are CAT dealers here. If they want their dealer network to shrink, changing power units may be one good way to do it. From what I've seen dealerships usually have more work than they can handle already without having to learn how to work on and stock parts for another entire line of engines.
