Thumb of Michigan | We priced our rye to compete with wheat gross's here. Tough to get that every year, we can get some pretty decent wheat yields. Seemed like about 40 bpa rye was as good as we could get. Didn't seem to matter what soil type or how much or little management we gave it.
Raised a few acres of radish every year. At a buck a # for clean seed, it was still by far the highest grossing and net profit crop I've ever grown. And I've grown some high $ grossing crops in the past. | |
