If it is too wet for corn it probably would be to wet for wheat. I have brought pasture into crop land using wheat before. I would kill the pasture (or attempt to) in mid September, plant wheat in mid October. I have never made a bumper crop by doing this but I blame it mostly on fertility and poor burndown.
