North Central Illinois | I kind of have to agree. I don't agree with a sound inside and out washing before putting one away though. That is asking for trouble. I usually grease it good and maybe wash the sheetmetal off before putting it away in the fall. This along with making sure all grain and trash is out of grain and cleaning system. I then use air to blow as much dirt and dust out and off of it as possible and like I said maybe a light wash on the sheet metal. When I get it out in late summer I will give it a really good washing top to bottom and then run the seperator for a while and put just a little bit more grease in the bearings. I then give it a good coat of wax. | |
