I just spent the morning cleaning mud and rotting grain out of the auger troughs that run under the concaves and grain pan on a 7721 pull type I recently bought. I don't know if its from pressure washing or sitting out on the lot at the dealer's but water obviously got in and the troughs had not been cleaned out properly after harvest.
Co-incidentally I found the same thing on the IH rotary I bought 12 years earlier. Its one of the reasons I never use a pressure washer on a combine anymore. | |
