North Central Illinois | I'm not holding my breath for a real bullish report. I think it might be mildly bullish and if that is the case it could well already be in the market. I now get what you were saying about taking the reduced stocks off of last years production and still having a record crop. Can't argue with you there. What was the projected usage for the coming year? It looks like if their acreage number is correct a 160 bu national yield gives us a 12.6 billion bushel crop. Anything less than that and carryout could get interesting. We are in no danger of running out of corn anytime soon but it bears watching. I don't know of many guys in this area that are sitting on any corn. Local basis is pretty strong right now. | |
