Nice racks, Hud. Ours are almost identical. I built them about 25 years ago with rough oak 2x8 floors. I coated the 2x8's on all four sides with good ole creosote before bolting them down. They lasted 25 years sitting outside. Dad just rebuilt one for me before hay season this spring. New oak 2x8's, but coated with used motor oil this time...not as good as creosote, but if we keep re-coating, maybe they'll last. Ours are 8x18' and we haul 8 round bales each, three on each side with two on the top. Would like a pair of 9x24's to haul 11 round bales each, four on a side and three on top.
