RUkiddingme - 7/6/2010 20:12 NO BOOM YET not in the shop anyway. There are several shops and buildings around the area using pvc for air lines. So for all you that are afraid stay away from west central Illinois. A local contractor installed most of the air lines. So what? You have a contractor that doesn't know !@#$ and is more concerned with making money on an installation than he is with the safety of his customers. The point is it's potentially a deadly situation. It is unsafe, unwise, and plain stupid to have a PVC air system. You can argue ... but you'll be wrong. If you have one in your shop carefully slip in and throw the breaker on the air compressor, plug in a hose and run it out the door and drain the pressure off your system. Then replace it. Anything else is stupidity, plain and simple.
