Mascoutah, Illinois | I was watching the Weather Channel with Jim Cantore this evening. The weather setup for the early part of next week is as follows. He said the "blocking high" will remain in place in the southeastern portion of the country. He also said another stalled out front will bring more flooding rains for the central plains, Iowa, and western Missouri. The Gulf of Mexico will be wide open pumping up plenty of moisture to fuel these flooding rains. This is Jim Cantore's forecast which I saw this evening around 7:15pm CDT.
