Around here, a two or three hp for aeration, and a 7.5 for drying would be the right size on a 24' bin. 10 hp max. It's gonna take a while for moisture to migrate out of the grain kernals, and for the drying front to move through the grain profile. More air than recommended won't help that any, unless you also apply heat. Even with heaters, a 7.5 or 10 hp is plenty for that bin. You'll still have to run a bigger fan about the same amount of time, and it will take LOTS more kwh, = more $ to run the bigger fan. Without heat, I'd use a 3 or 5 hp.
