I don't know about the one with gas shock, but the regular deere factory bracket for the 60-70 series is junk...every one I have seen is so loose that the screen flops around so much you can't read it, or get your finger on the right button on the screen.
We had an after-market one in the 9550 that wasn't too bad, but can't remember where it came from...I think it attached to the monitor bezel in the ceiling.
