Try this, go ahead and install the legacy programs to w7. Then in computer you will see Program Files and (X86) Program Files go into the latter and find the installed program right click on the application, select properties then select compatibility mode and from the drop down list choose run in compatibility mode for XP SP2 or w98 if thats what makes it go. The (X86) Program Files are 32bit programs (:
