Kittitas Co. Wa. State

Every JD I've ever driven has had enough brakes to get the tractor stopped.

There is no "pumping the brakes" or sorta stopping,, There is 1 and only 1 shot to get all the pressure you can on the brake pedals and get the tractor stopped. But there is Still brakes for few seconds after engine quits.

Wonder why when the engine quit, the first thought wasn't "Hit and hold" brakes hard as possible followed by get all the iron possible on/in the ground, even if it's not a field?

Sadly,, really not even approaching anything steep far as a hill.
