I put the Deere steps on both our tractors and don't regret it for a moment. I thought about it and figured I would gladly spend a few thousand to get a cast off my leg so I could get back farming after taking a fall off those postage stamp sized original steps so why not spend $300 and prevent it from happening in the first place.
In my humble opinion this one is a "no-brainer". Get'r'done.
