A K & M Step was put on my 4630 within an hour of it's first time on my farm.

I think it should be a law that all Deere 30 thru 55 seies tractors have them.

Just so much better than the factory step.

Below are two not the best pictures of the step on my 4630.

And one of the step on my renter's 4020.
I was so tired of getting on and off that poor step thing that I put the step on the 4020 with my own money.
The same step fits the 10 and 20 series [without cabs] as the later 30-55 Soundgard tractors. But you have to buy a mounting kit, about $80-
I would say the step does more for the 4020 than the later tractors.

Also the bottom step on the 4630 photo can be removed. On the 4020 three steps were pretty close to the ground, so I only used two of them .
