Central Iowa | I normally cultivate beans twice in my ridge-till system. I won't get it done this year because of all the rain. I go deep the first pass and ridge the second pass. Getting the low hanging pods has never been an issue for me. I use either a 653A row crop head or an 820 platform.
Keeping the cultivator on the row is easy as long the rows are centered on the ridges. | |
