It was with the older formulated products. The original Express, never had a problem with the newer products.
I doubt that it was your boom that carried that much.
I would guess you don't have a 50 mesh main screen. Many labels specifically mention with SU's not to have smaller than a 50 mesh, yet many farmers run smaller for their main filter.
That makes it very important to take off that filter and rinse it out.
The newer products don't seem to have the problem.
It's one reason, with all our canola, that I intentionally stay away from most generic group 2 products. I'm not having problems with the top quality name brand products, I don't want to take the risk of having that first tank die.
Still need to do a good flush. Still don't like spray sitting in the tank, but just haven't experienced a problem when using the newer, more soluble products.
Don't know how your formulation in Group 2 are in Canada, but stay with the highest solubility ones and clean that filter and you should be able to avoid problems. | |
